Between step (i) and step (ii), a part of the mixture is taken in a sampling operation, formed into a test specimen and subjected to a test. La presente invención describe un método para controlar la calidad del gránulo en la producción de mineral de fierro, el cual comprende las etapas de mezclar agua, aglutinante y partículas de mineral de fierro en, al menos, un mezclador en una mezcla (etapa (i)) y granular la mezcla en gránulos verdes (etapa (ii)). Entre la etapa (i) y la etapa (ii), se toma una parte de la mezcla en una operación de muestreo, se forma en un espécimen de prueba y se somete a una prueba.
