La invención se refiere a métodos para identificar un organismo híbrido, basándose en la tinción de células progenitoras de origen con un colorante, de manera preferible con un tinte fluorescente. Un colorante preferido es un colorante acoplado al éster de succinimidilo. La invención se refiere adicionalmente al organismo híbrido resultante, preferentemente un organismo híbrido entre especies que es marcado con un tinte.
