La presente invención se refiere a métodos para expandir linfocitos de infiltración de tumor (TILs), que incluye linfocitos de sangre periférica y linfocitos de infiltración de médula, a partir de sangre y/o médula ósea de pacientes con neoplasias hematológicas, tales como tumores líquidos, que incluyen linfomas y leucemias, y usos de tales TILs expandidos en el tratamiento de enfermedades tales como cánceres y neoplasias hematológicas.
