According to one or more aspects, a nonwoven fabric includes an entangled web of individualized bast fibers and polylactic acid (PLA) fibers. At least a portion of the bast fibers and a portion of the PLA fibers are thermally bonded together. En la presente descripción se describen telas no tejidas, paños y métodos para la fabricación de estos. De acuerdo con uno o más aspectos, una tela no tejida incluye una trama enmarañada de fibras de líber individualizadas y fibras de ácido poliláctico (PLA).
