The present invention relates to an independent dual release system comprising a pyrazolyl benzene sulfonic acid derivative, which is a COX-2 inhibitor and a centrally acting opioid with affinity to the mu receptor. The independent dual release system is formed by at least two matrices and is characterized by providing a system of release of the assets in a specific way. Additionally, the system is useful for the treatment of moderate to severe pain.
