Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a novel method for obtaining recombinant protein-producing animal cells with a more efficient energy metabolism from the overexpression of the genes that make up the mitochondrial pyruvate transporter, which results in its higher growth and products. Said cells are preferably human cells or animal cells (mammalian or insect), allowing increasing productivity of producer systems based on animal cells. La presente invención se refiere a un nuevo método para obtener células animales productoras de proteínas recombinantes con un metabolismo energético más eficiente a partir de la sobreexpresión de los genes que componen al transportador mitocondrial de piruvato, lo que resulta en su mayor crecimiento y producción de productos, sean las células mismas, proteínas recombinantes o virus. Dichas células preferentemente son células humanas o células animales (de mamífero o insecto). Con la presente invención se incrementa la productividad de sistemas productores basados en células animales.
