The coating comprises (1) silica moieties, (2) organo oxysilane moieties selected from the group consisting of mono-organo oxysilane moieties, bi-organo oxysilane moieties and tri-organo oxysilane moieties, and (3) poly(dialkyl)siloxane moieties. Un polvo recubierto comprende: (a) nanopartículas, y (b) un recubrimiento sobre la superficie de las partículas. El recubrimiento comprende: (1) porciones de sílice, (2) porciones de órgano oxisilano seleccionadas del grupo que consiste en: porciones mono órgano oxisilano, porciones biórgano oxisilano y porciones triórgano oxisilano, y (3) porciones poli (dialquil) silano.
