Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a water treatment system and process for allowing the removal of dissolved arsenic by the integration of electrocoagulation equipment with a pulsed current, provided with rapid mixing with granular clarification and rapid filtration in the sand, and anthracite highly efficient for arsenic removal. The use of the treatment focuses on the water potabilization for human use and consumption from underground or surface supply sources that produce high concentrations of arsenic. The system and process optimize the use of electrodes fixed iron and reduce the amount of sludge generated during the removal of arsenic while consuming a smaller amount of energy than when using direct current.
Un sistema y un proceso para tratamiento de agua que permite retirar arsénico disuelto, mediante la integración de un equipo de electrocoagulación con corriente pulsada, provisto de mezcla rápida con clarificación granular y filtración rápida en arena: antracita, altamente eficiente para remoción de arsénico. Su uso en particular se centra en potabilizar agua para uso y consumo humano de fuentes de abastecimiento subterráneas o superficiales que presenten altas concentraciones de arsénico.
