Zusammenfassung: | A ladderframe or chassis has a deflection surface 14 which is positioned to guide leaking high pressure oil 120 away from adjacent room temperature vulcanising rubber (RTV) seals 104. This prevents the oil from damaging the RTV seals, which may become compromised over time when exposed to the oil. The deflection surface or oil catcher may be integral with the ladderframe and fabricated by casting with the ladderframe. The deflection surface may also be arcuate and a part of it may be machined.
