The utility analytics system also includes a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to receive or access data related to weather conditions, vegetation conditions, and historical events along the power grid, and the processor is also configured to execute instructions of the event forecaster to identify one or more potential events in the power grid based at least in part on the data related to weather conditions, vegetation conditions, and historical events along the power grid.
