Zusammenfassung:A method is provided to decrease the time required to introgress three or more desired traits from donor plant lines into an elite plant background. The method comprises crossing two donor plants, wherein the donor plants have each been backcrossed to have a high recurrent parent percentage and share one desired locus to be introgressed into the elite plant background. Se proporciona un método para disminuir el tiempo necesario para introgresar tres o más rasgos deseados de líneas de plantas donantes en un contexto de planta de elite. El método comprende cruzar dos plantas donantes, donde cada una de las plantas donantes fue retrocruzada para tener un porcentaje de progenitor recurrente mayor y para compartir un locus deseado para introgresar en el contexto de la planta de elite.
