The shield (3) is transformable from one stable mechanical state to another upon an impact to the shield (3). Se proporciona un chupón (1) que comprende una tetina (2) y un protector (3) hecho de un material elástico. El protector (3) comprende dos estados mecánicos estables: uno en el cual el protector (3) actúa como un protector y otro en el cual el protector (3) actúa como una cubierta de tetina.
