AQUEOUS CRUDE EXTRACT OF FOETIDA PASSIFLORA, ITS METHOD FOR OBTAINING THE SAME AND USE AS A FUNGICIDE AGAINST MYCOSPHAERELLA FIJIENSIS

The present invention relates to a natural fungicide from the aqueous crude extract of leaves of Foetida Passiflora, its method for obtaining the same and its use for inhibiting the mycelial growth of spores of the Mycosphaerella Fijiensis pathogen, which is known to cause the disease called black Sigatoka, mainly in plantain and bananas. The obtainment method consists of the processing of the collected leaves of Foetida Passiflora, its aqueous extraction by mixing the vegetable material with water and separating the solid waste by various centrifugation and sterilization steps by filtration. La presente invención se relaciona con un fungicida natural proveniente del extracto crudo acuoso de hojas de Passiflora foetida, su método de obtención y su uso para inhibir el crecimiento micelial de esporas del patógeno Mycosphaerella fijiensis, el cual es conocido por provocar la enfermedad llamada Sigatoka negra principalmente en bananos y plátanos. El método de obtención consiste en el procesamiento de las hojas colectadas de Passiflora foetida, su extracción acuosa mezclando el material vegetal con agua y separando los residuos sólidos mediante varios pasos de centrifugación y esterilización por filtración.
