Zusammenfassung:	It is disclosed a method to print durable and high contrast identification codes, indicia and figures on an animal tag. The method is characterized by printing an ink on a polymeric substrate of the animal tag, the step of printing being executed with inkjet printing technique and the ink being a UV-curable ink including pigments, wherein the ink is UV cured after inkjet printing, to become integral part of the polymeric substrate. Se describe un método para imprimir códigos de identificación, símbolos y figuras duraderos y de alto contraste sobre una etiqueta de animal. El método está caracterizado por imprimir una tinta sobre un sustrato polimérico de la etiqueta de animal, el paso imprimir se ejecuta con técnica de impresión por inyección de tinta y la tinta es una tinta curable con UV que incluye pigmentos, en donde la tinta es curada por UV después de impresión por inyección de tinta, para volverse parte integral del sustrato polimérico.
