Zusammenfassung:The present invention refers to a method for developing an algorithm intended to determine the accurate location in a predetermined range for performing the cut of the shank in the optimum point of an ear of maize, where the whole husk leaves remain free and are removed with easiness, based on geometric parameters of the same; the system is able to locate this range from an image captured by a camera and an electronic system of automated control that is applied in an equipment using a system for cutting the ears of maize in the zone of the base stalk and transporting them to an area of husk leaves removal; where said cutting system is supported on a sliding cart with a position adjustment adjusted by means of the electronic system of automated control. La invención se refiere a un método que permite desarrollar un algoritmo que determine la localización en un rango determinado para hacer el corte del pedúnculo en el punto óptimo de una mazorca, donde todas las hojas quedan libres y es posible deshojarlas con mayor facilidad, en base a parámetros geométricos de la misma; en donde el sistema es capaz de ubicar este rango a partir de una imagen capturada por una cámara y un sistema electrónico de control automatizado, aplicado en un equipo que utiliza un sistema de corte de las mazorcas en la zona del tallo de la base y transporte las mazorcas cortadas a una área de deshojado; en donde dicho sistema de corte esta soportado en un carro deslizable ajustable en posición mediante dicho sistema electrónico de control automatizado.
