MODULAR CARCASS FOR AN ELECTRONIC VOTING DEVICE

The present invention refers to a modular carcass for an electronic voting device, which comprises: a lower module or base module and an upper module or cap module arranged over the lower module, where the base module is formed by a seat wall or lower wall, a lateral right wall, a middle partition wall and a lateral left wall; these walls defining a major chamber in the inner portion of the carcass where the elements of an electronic voting device are arranged, as well as a support for switches and communication elements, also defining a minor carcass where the elements of an electronic voting device are arranged; over the seat wall there is a communication channel arranged between the minor chamber of the base module and a receptacle containing the printed ballots which can be arranged under the base module; at the same time, a mechanism for releasing a gate is arranged in the same minor chamber and over the middle partition wall, while the upper module or cap module is integrated f rom an upper wall, which defines in the carcass a surface of touch-visual approach with the user, this wall also including the gate which controls the mechanism for releasing the minor chamber of the base module; a rear wall includes a sliding safety cap with a position sensor, this safety cap controlling the access to the support switch and communication elements defined in the major chamber of the base module, and a front wall including a plurality of bores arranged over the said wall and in the zone corresponding to the major chamber of the base module, these bores providing the required permissiveness for flowing different sound waves from the inner portion of the carcass to the outer portion of the same.
