Zusammenfassung:Described is an additive for modifying the rheological properties of warm asphalt, which is useful for mixing and compressing the asphalt mixtures with a temperature reduced down to 35°C, the additive including wax, which is an adherence improver and a fluctuant agent, which reduces the oxidation of the asphalt, thus being more resistant to stress; the invention also reduces the interfacial tension between the aggregate and the asphalt, increasing the adherence between the same and turning the mixture into more resistant to damages caused by humidity, increasing the resistance to permanent deformation, reducing gas emissions and saving fuel consumption. The additive according to the invention has the following effects: - At high temperatures (of from about 100°C to about 160°C) the viscosity of the asphalt is reduced, compared to the additive-free asphalt. - At temperatures of from about 58°C to about 82°C the viscosity of the asphalt is increased, compared to the additive-free asphal t. At temperatures lower than 25°C the viscosity of the asphalt is reduced, compared to the additive-free asphalt. Es un Aditivo modificador de las propiedades reologicas del asfalto en tibio, que logra mezclar y compactar las mezclas asfálticas con una reducción de temperatura de hasta 35° C, cual está constituido por cera, aditivo mejorador de adherencia y agente fluxuante, el cual disminuye la oxidación del asfalto, presentándose mas joven y resistente la fatiga, disminuye la tensión interfacial entre el agregado y el asfalto , incrementa la adhesividad entre los mismos haciendo la mezcla resistente a los daños causados por la humedad, aumenta la resistencia a la deformación permanente, se reducen las emisiones de gases y se ahorra el consumo de combustible. El aditivo de acuerdo con la invención tiene los siguientes efectos: - A temperaturas elevadas (entre 100 y 160°C) DISMINUYE la viscosidad del asfalto, en relación al asfalto sin aditivo. - A temperaturas entre 58 y 82°C AUMENTA la viscosidad del asfalto, en relación al asfalto sin aditivo. A temperaturas menores a 25°C DISMINUYE la viscosidad del asfalto, en relación al asfalto sin aditivo.
