METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR THE STIMULATION OF DENDRITOGENESIS AND NEURON MATURATION IN ADULT MAMMALS

The present invention refers to a method for the stimulation and increase of dendritogenesis in neurons, and the neuron maturation in pre-existent brain cells and new generation cells in adult mammals by means of the administration of one or more agents of the indolamine group, also referring to the precursors and metabolites thereof as well as the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; a pharmaceutically acceptable system is included for the administration and use of the prophylaxis and/or relieve and/or control of diseases that require the maturation of dendrites for the formation of novel synapses in mammal adults. La presente invención se refiere a un método para la estimulación e incremento de la dendritogénesis en las neuronas y la maduración neuronal de las células cerebrales preexistentes y las de nueva generación en mamíferos adultos mediante la administración de uno o más agentes del grupo de las indolaminas, sus precursores y sus metabolitos y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables, un sistema farmacéuticamente aceptable que permite su administración y su uso en la profilaxis y/o alivio y/o control de enfermedades que requieren la maduración de las dendritas para la formación de nuevas sinapsis en mamíferos adultos.
