METHOD FOR PREPARING SILVER NANOPARTICLES BY PRECIPITATION IN BICONTINUOUS MICROEMULSIONS

Described is a method for preparing silver nanoparticles including the following steps: a) preparing a bicontinuous microemulsion having an aqueous-phase nanotube structure, the bicontinuous microemulsion is formed by water, one or more water-soluble metallic precursors, one or more non-water miscible organic solvents, and one or more surfactants: b) adding one or more reducing agents for producing a reduction reaction of the metallic precursors in the aqueous-phase nanotubes in order to form silver nanoparticles; and c) separating the silver nanoparticles from the bicontinuous microemulsion. Un método para preparar nanopartículas de plata que cuenta con los pasos de: a) preparar una microemulsión bicontinua de estructura de nanotubos de fase acuosa, la microemulsión bicontinua esta formada por agua, uno o mas precursores metálicos solubles en agua, uno o mas disolventes orgánicos no miscibles en agua, y uno o mas surfactantes: b) agregar uno o mas agentes reductores para producir una reacción de reducción de los precursores metálicos en los nanotubos de fase acuosa a fin de formar nanopartículas de plata: y c) separar las nanopartículas de plata de la microemulsión bicontinua.
