Zusammenfassung:Continuous coil tubing (100) made from shorter lengths of flat metal strip (26) which are spliced end-to end and formed into tubular form (104) and seam welded and thereafter introduced into a forging or hot reduction process (106) . Finished coil tubing is withdrawn from the process at a faster rate than flat metal strip is fed into the process. Welds made to the flat metal strip blend into and substantially disappear from the finished coil tubing. Una tuberia de arrollamiento continua (100) fabricada desde longitudes mas cortas de la tira de metal plana (26) que se empalman extremo con extremo y forman una forma tubular (104) y se sueldan con costura y luego se introducen en un proceso de forjadura o reduccion termica (106). La tuberia de arrollamiento terminada se retira del proceso a una velocidad mas rapida que aquella a la cual la tira de metal plana se carga en el proceso. Las soldaduras hechas a la tira de metal plana se mezclan y desaparecen sustancialmente de la tuberia de arrollamiento terminada.
