Zusammenfassung:The present invention concerns oxacolidines derived from polyalkyl or polyalkenyl N-hydroxyalkyl succinimides, method for preparation and use to prevent and control formation of deposits in internal combustion machines, principally in formulations of additives which are used in hydrocarbon fuels. The oxacolidines derived from polyalkyl or polyalkenyl N-hydroxyalkyl succinimides of the present invention has the following structural formula (see formula) wherein: R is polyalkyl or polyalkenyl group having an average molecular weight of from about 450 Daltons to about 5000 Daltons; m is a whole number between 1 to 5; n is a whole number between 0 to 1; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independent radicals represented by the groups: --H, CH2 (CH2)AB, -C6H3DE or ûC10H4FG; wherein: A is a whole number between 0 and 8, B is a group selected from ûH, -NH2, -OH, -COOH, and D, E, F and G are independent radicals selected from the groups: -H, -CH3, -CH2CH3, -CH2CH2CH3, -CH2(CH2)2CH3, -(CH3)3, C6H5, -NH2, - OH, -OCH3, OCH2CH2OH, OCH(CH3)CH2OH, OC6H5 ûCOOH, -SO3. La presente invención se relaciona con oxazolidinas derivadas de polialquil o polialquenil N-hidroxialquil succinimidas, proceso de obtención y uso para prevenir y controlar la formación de depósitos en máquinas de combustión interna, principalmente en formulaciones de aditivos que se aplican en combustibles hidrocarbonados. Las oxazolidinas derivadas de polialquil o polialquenil N-hidroxialquil succinimidas de la presente invención, tienen la fórmula estructural (ver fórmula) donde: R es un grupo polialquil o polialquenil de peso molecular promedio entre 450 y 5,000 daltons; m es un número entero entre 1 y 5; n es un número entero entre 0 y 1; y R1, R2, R3 y R4 son radicales independientes representados por los grupos: -H, -CH2(CH2)AB, -C6H3DE o -C10H4FG; donde: A es un número entero entre 0 y 8, B es un grupo seleccionado entre -H, -NH2, -OH, -COOH, y D, E, F y G son radicales independientes seleccionados entre los grupos: -H, -CH3, -CH2CH3, -CH2CH2CH3, -CH2(CH2)2CH3, -(CH3)3, C6H5, -NH2, -OH, -OCH3, OCH2CH2OH, OCH(CH3)CH2OH, OC6H5 -COOH, -SO3.
