LIQUID INFUSION PODS CONTAINING INSOLUBLE MATERIALS

Liquid infusion pods (12) having a fluid distribution member (20) situated ina top plane and a liquid permeable first filter member wherein the first filtermember (22) is sealed to the fluid distribution member forming a first interiorchamber that comprises a liquid dispersible material, the fluid distributionmember having at least one injection nozzle protruding downward from the topplane into the interior chamber, the injection nozzle has at least one infusionport that directs fluid into the first interior chamber in a direction that isnot normal to the top plane, the first filter member comprising at least firstregion and at least one second region wherein the permeability of the first regionis different from the permeability of the second region.
