Zusammenfassung:	An aqueous wood preservation composition containing inorganic polymers of one or more of the following metals is disclosed; aluminum (approximately 3.8% - 7.0% as Al203), zirconium (approximately 5.25% - 9.1% as ZrO2), copper (approximately 0.7% - 8.8% as CuO) and a fixing agent such as acetic acid or sodium acetate. The pH is adjusted to be between 2.0 - 4.0 using an inorganic base such as copper carbonate. The invention includes wood and cellulose fibers treated by the composition of the present invention as well as methods of preserving wood and cellulose fibers using the compositions. Se divulga una composicion acuosa de conservacion de madera que contiene polimeros inorganicos de uno o mas de los siguientes metales; aluminio (aproximadamente 3.8% - 7.0% como Al2O3), zirconio (aproximadamente 5.25% - 9.1% como ZrO2), cobre (aproximadamente 0.7% - 8.8% como CuO) y un agente de fijacion tal como acido acetico o acetato de sodio. El pH se ajusta para estar entre 2.0 - 4.0 usando una base inorganica tal como carbonato de cobre. La invencion incluye madera y fibras de celulosa tratadas mediante la composicion de la presente invencion, asi como metodos para conservar madera y fibras de celulosa usando las composiciones.
