New derivatives of the spiro-[2H-1-benzopyrane-2,4ó-piperidin]-4(3H)-on, acid-additive salts thereof and pharmaceutical compositions containing them

The invention relates to the new derivatives of the spiro-[2H-1-benzopyrane-2,4ó-pipe-ridin]-4(3H)-on with the general formula (I), wherein R represents halogen, nitro group or linear or ramified C1-6 alkyl group, to the acid-additive salts thereof, as well as to the quaternary salts thereof. The said compounds exert a benefic effect on dementias of diverse pathological etiology and symptoms accompanying them. Moreover, the invention relates to the process for obtaining derivatives of formula (I), to the pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds in the capacity of active agents, as well as to the method of treatment.
