Invenţia se referă la construcţia motoarelor, în special la motoarele, care lucrează conform ciclului Stirling şi poate fi utilizată în industria constructoare de maşini.Răcitorul pentru maşina termică cu ciclul Stirling include un corp cu racorduri de admisie şi evacuare a agentului termic gazos (4) în partea de sus (1) a lui şi racorduri de admisie şi evacuare a lichidului de răcire (5) în partea de jos (2) a lui. În interiorul corpului este amplasat un schimbător de căldură (3), executat în formă de nervuri din metal cu o conductibilitate termică înaltă, montate pe un ax, care este fixat în pereţii laterali ai corpului prin garnituri de etanşare (6) şi (7) cu şuruburi (8) şi piuliţe (9).
