Invenţia se referă la industria vinicolă, şi anume la un procedeu de desulfitare a vinului destinat distilării.Procedeul, conform invenţiei, include administrarea în vin a suspensiei apoase de hidroxid de calciu, la agitare continuă, până la atingerea unui pH de 5,5...6,5, menţinerea amestecului obţinut, separarea sedimentului format şi filtrarea.
