The invention relates to organic compounds from the class of thiosemicarbazones possessing antibacterial activity. The compounds can be used in medicine, veterinary medicine and agriculture.Summary of the invention consists in the synthesis of new derivatives of 4-formyl-3-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid of the formula:where R = H (1) and C6H5 (2). The compounds exhibit bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties against pathogens S. aureus and E. coli. Invenţia se referă la compuşi organici din clasa tiosemicarbazonelor care posedă activitate antibacteriană. Compuşii pot fi utilizaţi în medicină, medicina veterinară şi agricultură.Esenţa invenţiei constă în sinteza derivaţilor noi ai acidului 4-formil-3-hidroxi-2-naftoic cu formula:unde R = H (1) şi C6H5 (2). Compuşii manifestă proprietăţi bacteriostatice şi bactericide faţă de microorganismele patogene S. aureus şi E.coli.
