Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to the field of purification of the organic compounds, in particular of the process tartaric acid, which may be used in the food industry as additive in jam and candied fruit jelly, in cocoa powder, in mayonnaise, in tomato concentrates for pH maintenance at the value of 4,3, in canned fruits, for acidulation of the new wine, liqueur, in the baking and pharmaceutical industry etc. Summary of the invention consists in the tartaric acid dissolution in water, filtration, separation and washing of crystals, as well as drying thereof at 60...80 degree C, prior to the filtration being carried out the treatment with 5% active coal, then into the filtered solution it is added xylene, the water is removed by azeotropic distillation, and the obtained tartaric acid crystals are washed with ether or acetone. The result of the invention consists in increasing the tartaric acid yield (95...96%), in reducing the consumption of chemical reagents and the cost price of the product. The conduction of the process for tartaric acid crystallization from azeotropic mixture permits to provide for the rapid crystallization and separation of the finished product in pure state. Claims: 1
