Transplant and method of nasal septum plasty

The invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. Summary of the invention consists in the fact that the transplant for nasal septum plasty is made cuneiform, into the base it is executed a longitudinal groove and at the opposite edge there are executed cross cuts. It is also claimed a method of nasal septum plasty, including incision of the nasal septum mucosa, separation thereof, resection of the pathologically modified osteocartilaginous portion. Then the maxilla nasal ridge is given a cuneiform aspect, the transplant is positioned with its base on the nasal ridge, the edge with the cross cuts of the transplant is fixed to the remained osteocartilaginous portion. After that the nasal septum mucosa is fixed to the transplant. The result consists in obtaining a transplant with required dimension and configuration as well as stable fixation thereof.
