The invention relates to medicine, particularly to oncology and can be used for treating cancer of the tongue and floor of the mouth with plasty of the defect.The method, according to the invention, consists in that it is performed the radiotherapy 2 Gy per session, the total course is 40 Gy, then is performed the skin incision in the submandibular region from the median line up to the inner edge of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, at a distance of 1.5...2.0 cm from the lower edge of the mandible, the incision of superficial fascia and subcutaneous muscle, is mobilized the facial artery and vein at the level of the lower edge of the lower jaw, then in the carotid triangle are determined the lymph nodes that are mobilized from the wound bed with preservation of the bond in the block with the affected part of the tongue, is performed the excision of muscles of the floor of the mouth and tongue from the hyoid bone and mandible from the affected part, from the side of the oral cavity are performed incisions, the tongue part for removal is exteriorized in the wound in the neck region and is removed the entire tumor, afterwards from the thoracic region is sectioned a musculocutaneous vascular pedicle flap from the pectoralis major muscle, which is rotated at an angle of 180° with its passage through the surgical wound and its location in the defect area, then the wounds are sutured in layers, afterwards is performed the chemotherapy with cisplatin solution, in a unit dose of 100 mg/m2, once every 3...4 weeks, the chemotherapy treatment course is repeated 3...4 times.
