THE COMPOSITION OF PRE-MIXTURE CONTAINING HELIANTHUS TUBEROSUS POWDER AND PROBIOTICS PEDIOCOCCUS PENTOSACEUS FOR THE FEEDER PIGS

The pre-mixture formulated, having a form of powder, contains the mixture of following combinations: powder of Jerusalem artichoke Helianthus tuberosus and culture of Pediococcus pentosaceus.The composition of the pre-mixture formulated consisting of the Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus) powder and prebiotics Pediococcus pentosaceus is an ingredient of the pig feed added to total mixed ration. The pre-mixture can be used both, in organic and conventional farming systems with the purpose of increasing the productivity level of feeder pigs.As the result of applying this pre-mixture, the live weight of pigs is increased by 23.6 % on the average and the amount of feed utilised for production of 1 kg of live weight decreased by 13.6 % on the average while the micro flora of genus Lactobacillus, favourable to digestive tract increased by 0.5 lg kvv g-1.The pre-mixture can be added to feed of pigs from 30 to 65 days of age in a dose of 3 % Jerusalem artichoke powder of the total amount of feed + 1 g Pediococcus pentosaceus culture.This pre-mixture as a feed ingredient can be used by feed producing establishments, pig farms, individual pig producers, etc. Izgudrojums attiecas uz lauksaimniecību.
