Izgudrojums attiecināms uz medicīnu, konkrēti, piederīgs infektoloģijai un hepatoloģijai.Paņēmiens paredz alfa-fetoproteīna koncentrāciju noteikšanu ar MEIA metodi, konstatējot alfa-fetoproteīna līmeni serumā 90 ng/ml un augstāku, prognozē patoloģiskā procesa regresiju un labvēlīgu iznākumu akūta B vīrushepatīta gadījumā.
