CASCADE OF ASYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVE

An invention refers to the electrical engineering, and it can be used in electric drives of diesel train. Its purpose is to improve the reliability. The power supply 1 is connected to the stator phase winding 3, but to the other phase winding 4 the power supply is connected in series through the three-phase voltage regulator 6 and variable three-phase transformer 7. In the windings 3 and 4 number of turn pairs is equal for each part of bipartite stator. The spindle 8 of three-phase motor 5 is connected to the static load 9. Varying the phase voltage by help of three-phase voltage phase regulator 6 and voltage value by variable three-phase transformer 7, it is possible to achieve that both parts of stator windings can work in motor-generator and motor-motor regime. The improvement of reliability is achieved by development of contactless system.
