SYSTEM OF GENERATOR AND MOTOR IN RELATION TO ONE ANOTHER

An invention relates to the electrical engineering, and it can be used in the electrical transport. The aim of it is to increase the efficiency. The system of two electric machines, one of which is generating but another one is motoring in connection to one another, is provided for a diesel (1) whose axle is mated to the generator's armature winding (2) and to the auxiliary engine's armature winding (6). Both machines contain the excitation windings (3) and (7), correspondingly. The engine's armature (4) and its series excitation winding (5), being in reversal connection by the contacts (8, 9, 10, 11), are connected to the generator's armature winding (2). The auxiliary engine's armature winding (6) is connected in parallel with the series excitation winding (5) of the subsidiary engine by the contact (12) of contactor and resistor that can be controlled. The efficiency is raised by the shunting engine's series excitation winding (5) by auxiliary engine's armature winding (6), as well as for the reason that kinetic energy accumulated under the load is transmitted to the diesel (1)in order to ensure its light running without consumption of fuel.
