Zusammenfassung:The invention refers to the measurements of the volumetric liquid rate by passing its continuous flow through a measuring device and serves for protection of the device readings from the influence of external magnetic field. The aim of the invention is to improve the protection effectiveness of the readings of a counting mechanism. The offered design of the device for protection of the liquid rate meter from the influence of external magnetic field (fig.1) contains a housing of the liquid rate meter (1) divided by a leak-proof partition (2), in the lower part of the housing there are placed working wheel (3) and driving part (4) of the magnetic coupling and in the upper part there are placed driven part (5) of the mentioned coupling and counting mechanism (6). The upper part of the liquid rate meter can be made non-metallic. The protection device offered is arranged around housing (1) of the liquid rate meter, and in a particular case it can be consisting of bottom part (7) and cylindrical part (8) with holes (9,10) for inlet and outlet connection points (11,12) and is made of ferromagnetic or polymeric material with ferromagnetic filling whose thickness is ranged from 1 to 3 mm. The upper section of side walls (8) is situated above the upper edge of driven part (5) of the magnetic coupling. An application of the offered invention would allow a protection device to be installed on liquid rate meters without modifying the design of these devices. Such a protection device might be installed not only at mounting a liquid rate meter but also on the devices already mounted in a water supply system.
