Zusammenfassung:	The present invention discloses a method for predicting a pavement service performance distribution condition. The method sequentially comprises the following steps: (1) dividing a whole highway into units, and assessing service performance of each unit of the whole highway; (2) obtaining a service performance distribution matrix over the years according to a probability of excellent, good, medium, inferior, and poor appearing in each unit of the whole highway; (3) obtaining a transition probability matrix with different step sizes according to the service performance distribution matrix over the years; (4) obtaining a state transition matrix weight of the Markov chain with different step sizes by using the transition probability matrix; and (5) calculating a pavement service performance th distribution matrix Bn+1 in an (n+1) year. The method of the present invention has compact steps, and further obtains a pavement service performance distribution condition based on a conventional pavement service performance index, thereby helping a highway maintenance management department to accurately grasp a change rule of the pavement service performance distribution condition of the whole pavement section.
