Zusammenfassung:	Invention applies to construction and the exploitation of technical equipment and suits to be used for the protection of various earth excavations (trenches, watercourses, railways, roads and other) against snowdrifts. The invention aims to increase the effectiveness of the protection of the excavations against snowdrifts. The barrier consists of a tree line (1) growing on the slope (2) of the excavation and in its shelter belt (3). The lower branches of the trees are trimmed in such a manner that a space (4) above the slope and the excavation is formed widening upwards (confusable).The wind flow in a downward narrowing space (4) is pressed and for that reason the wind speed increases and the snow particles not only stay in the excavation, but are even swept out of the excavation boundaries.
