Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is an apparatus for regulating brightness of a display. In the display, light emitting diodes(LED1, ..., LED5) are connected with each output port of a microcomputer(MICOM) through switching transistors(Q1, Q2). In the apparatus, transistors(Q3, Q4) are connected to each emitter of the switching transistors(Q1, Q2). Bases of the transistors(Q3, Q4) are connected to output ports(P6, P7) of the microcomputer(MICOM). Each emitter of the transistors(Q3, Q4) are connected to an input(-12 V) and an output(-5V) of a regulater(IC1). When the output port(P6) is in high state and the output port(P7) is in low state, current flows to the collector of the transistor(Q4) to regulate brightness of the display. Thereby, the brightness of the display is regulated, so that function of the display is able to be various.
