BURGLARPROOF DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To prevent the burglar of a vehicle committed by faul means such as the direct coupling of an electric wire or the like by providing a magnet key inserted/removed into/from the key cylinder lock of the vehicle, and providing the key cylinder lock with plural switch members including one magnetic induction switch switched by the insertion/removal of the magnet key. CONSTITUTION:A key cylinder lock 1 is provided with an outer cylinder member 2 with outer holes 3 and inner holes 4 formed radially at one side part thereof, and an inner cylinder 5 provided with grooves 6 formed at its outer peripheral part, in positions corresponding to the inner holes 4, as well as with a key hole 8 formed at its center part is fitted inside the outer cylinder member 2. Magnet pin tumblers 9a-9c, movable obstructors, are fitted into both inner holes 4 and grooves 6. There is provided switch members 11 having at least one magnetic induction switch switched by inserting/removing a magnet key 7, provided with magnets g1-g5 buried into the upper side part of a key body 7a, into/from a key hole 8, and the startup of an engine is permitted when a characteristic code signal corresponding to the switching combination of the switch members 11 coincides with a stored information signal.
