Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber composition for tread low in fuel consumption and improved in abrasion resistance and braking performance on a wet road surface and a snowed or frozen road surface, by mixing a natural rubber or IR with a specific SBR and carbon black. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition containing 20-80pts.wt. natural rubber and/or polyisoprene rubber (a) and 80-20pts.wt. styrene/butadiene copolymer rubber having a bound styrene content of 10-30wt.% and a 1,2-vinyl bond content in the butadiene part of 10-805 (the total is the rubbers being 100pts. wt.), wherein said styrene/butadiene copolymer rubber has atomic group of the formula introduced as terminal or internal group of they molecular chain and 30-80pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. stock rubber, carbon black (b) of an IA of 60-70, Na2SA/IA of 1.18-1.40 and DELTAD50 (Dst) of 70-130mmu as a reinforcement.
