Zusammenfassung:	The impact detector for keeping the safety of the vehicle driver, detects the impact of the vehicle collision so as to operate the inflater of the air bag mounted on the steering handle. The impact detector comprises a non-magnetic cylindrical body(1), a coil(2) mounted on the central periphery of the cylindrical body(1), a first magnet(3) inserted into the center bore of the body(1); a second magnet(3') with a bolt(6) engaged with the thread(5) formed on the center bore. The quantity of the impact is detected by using the repulsive power of the magnet and the coil.
