Zusammenfassung:3-Phenoxy methyl substd. 1,2,4-oxadiazole derivs. of formula (I) are new. In (I), R= alkyl, halogen substd. alkyl, cyclic alkyl, aryl, benzyl, phenyl C1-3 lower alkyl amino carbonyl methyl, dialkyl or diaryl aminocarbonyl methyl or alkyl substd. piperidine carbonyl methyl; X and Y each = H, methyl or Cl. Pref. the cpds. (I) are 3-(2',4'- dichlorophenoxy) methyl-5-(1-methyl) ethoxy-1,2,4- oxadiazole, 3-(2',4'- dichlorophenoxy) methyl-5- (1methyl)propoxy- 1,2,4-oxadiazole or 3-(2'- methyl-4'-chlorophenoxy) methyl-5- (1- methyl) ethoxy-1,2,4- oxadiazole. The cpds. (I) are useful as a herbicide.
