MAIN COUNTER CONTROL CIRCUIT OF AUTOMATIC TRACK FINDING CIRCUIT FOR ROTARY D.A.T

The control circuit controls the AFT main counter on the pilot and the sync region. The circuit includes a modulator (10) for detecting edges of the pilot signal and the synchronous signal and for delaying the signals, a decoder (40) for counting and decoding the modulated pilot and synchronous signals, an AFT main counter (30) for checking the possibility of continuous counting about the decoded data, a controller (20) for controlling the initial operation of the AFT main counter (30), and a reset controller (50) for resetting flip-flops prior to the AFT region and for resetting the flip-flops after the pilot region when the pilot signal is prior to the synchronous signal and for counting from a synchronous region to reset after the end of the synchrounous region.
