(I) is pref. liquid paraffin, vaselline, methylpolysiloxane, etc. (II) is pref. alkylate polyvinylpirrolidone, polyethylene wax, polybutene, etc. (III) is pref. copolymer of vinylacetate/crotonic acid, vinylpirrolidone/ vinylacetate, etc. The compsn. is used as a barrier cream and to protect exposed areas of the body against the effect of agricultural chemicals.
