Zusammenfassung:	The electronic parts recognition apparatus includes shutter belt placed between optical paths from parts to an image sensor and having several openings for passing light. A part such as electronics parts is irradiated by diffused light and a silhouette of the parts is sensed by an image sensor. Several plural optical systems are placed between the parts and the image sensor, and thereby the silhouette of the parts is divided into several portions. A shutter having several openings is provided between the image sensor and the optical system to select one of the optical systems. One of respective silhouettes of the portions is sensed by the image sensor, and the portions are sensed in turn by shifting the shutter. Shape of parts is recognised with high precision which is independent of size of parts.
