In the formulas, R is (a)-(b); R1 is H, lower alkyl, allyl or propargyl; m is 0-2; n is 2-5; Z is S, O or methylene; A is thiazole, pyrimidine, thiadiazole or oxazol. (I) are histamine H2receptor antagonists which inhibit a gastric acid secretion.
