AUTO-REVERSE APPARATUS FOR TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization by providing a rotating transmission body and a cam follower. CONSTITUTION:When a right pinch roller 4a is pressed against a capstan shaft 3a and a torque is given to a reel shaft 1a, a tape direction display member 25 is at the position of 'F'. A torque of the reel shaft 1a is delivered to the cam follower 31a via a pressing energizing section 29a and a press contact part 33a slides onto a cam face 11a. When the tape is wound by the right reel, the reel shaft 1a is stopped, the press contact part 33a is separated from the cam face 11a and a press projection 12a is brought into contact with the press contact part 33a. A turning plate 7a is turned against a spring 27a to separate a gear 9a from a large gear 26a. On the other hand, the turning plate 7a is turned to move the switching plate to the left and the tape direction display member 25 is moved to the position of 'R'. The left pinch roller 4b is brought into contact with the capstan shaft 3b to mesh the small gear 9b of the rotating transmission body with a large gear 26b. While the tape is being wound on the left reel, reproduction or recording is applied.
