Zusammenfassung:	The cigarette filter comprises a wad of filter material with a cover. It includes air passages which extend from the mouth-piece end to open out on the perimeter. The passages permit the intake of ambient air and holes in the cover permit the intake of ambient air and holes in the cover permit the penetration of a second ambient air current. The two sets of inlets are independent, the passage inlet being offset from and between the ends whilst the holes are in the relatively permeable outer layer of a two layer cover.
