Zusammenfassung:9-[3-(3,5-cis-dimethylpiperazino)propyl! carbazole (I) is prepd. for use as a medicine for mental disease. 5ml of water, 3.05 g of sulfuric acid, 10 g of cis-9-[3-(3,5-dimethylpiperazinyl) propyl!carbazol are mixed and precipitation is performed. This is refluxed for 10 min, and then cooled to 20 C. This is recrystalized, filtered, washed with acetone, and then dried to give cis-9-[3-(3,5- dimethylpiperazinyl)propyl! carbazole sulfate monohydrate.
