Zusammenfassung:	Long acting nicardipine (I) or its salt was prepd. by coating nicardipine(salt) and pH-dependent additive on small particle cores, Nonpareil 103. Thus, 728.6g Nonpareil was spray-coated with 1.2 kg soln. of 80g I, 80g hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate HP55 and 20g Tween 80 in 1:1 MeOH-C2H2 to give globular granules. The granule was dried for 4hr at 40 C and capsulated to form capsulated prepns. (I) is useful in treatment of disturbance of the cerebral blood vessel, hypertension and angina pectoris.
